Im Rahmen der Prinz-Albert-Festwoche veranstaltet die Prinz-Albert-Gesellschaft ein internationales Forschungssymposium, zu dem Wissenschaftler(-innen) aus ganz Europa beitragen werden. Zentrale Fragestellungen sind: Wie entwickelte sich die Albert und Victoria – Forschung? Wie war und ist die Darstellung Alberts und Victorias in Kunst, Literatur und Film? Sind sie heute noch in der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung präsent und wie verändert sich das möglicherweise in einem Jubiläumsjahr wie 2019?

Interessierte Zuhörerinnen und Zuhörer sind herzlich willkommen. Der Eintritt ist frei. Aus organisatorischen Gründen bitten wir jedoch um Anmeldung unter: prinzalbertgesellschaft@gmail.com.

As part of the Prince Albert Festival, the Prince Albert Society has organized an international academic symposium with contributions by scholars from all over Europe. Questions will include: What was the development of the Albert and Victoria’s studies? How have Albert and Victoria been portrayed in art, literature and film? Are they still present in today’s public perception and does a jubilee year like 2019 possibly change this?
