Am 200. Geburtstag Prinz Alberts beginnt die „Prinz-Albert-Festwoche“ mit einer Feierstunde im Historischen Rathaussaal der Stadt Coburg: Grußworte prominenter Gäste bilden den Auftakt der Festveranstaltung, bevor ein öffentlicher Abendvortrag in das Thema der Festwoche einführen wird. Anschließend findet ein Empfang statt, zu dem alle Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer herzlich eingeladen sind.

The Prince Albert Festival will be opened on Prince Albert’s 200^th birthday with a special ceremony in the Historic Council Chamber of the City of Coburg. Welcoming speeches by prominent guests will open the event before a public lecture will introduce the main topic of the week-long Festival.
